More than a dozen members and guests braved the rainy morning to check out Brice Bowman's RV-9A and Bill Carr's Sonex progress. The tour generated lots of good discussion and interest in future Builders Tours. Thanks, Brice and Bill! Click here for pictures.
Cool kit on the way
Several months ago I met this guy named David Algie, an Indy car designer, who is designing & constructing a very cool 400 hp carbon fiber composite airplane. Not your average kit project! He is a local guy, located off Georgetown near 62nd street. I thought it was soon to be one of the coolest kit airplanes on the market I have ever seen & thought you might enjoy it.
